2021 Mahindra XUV 500, Scorpio delayed again because of Covid-19 Pandamic, launch near Diwali due to chip shortage.

Mahindra recently cancelled a partnership with a big american car manufacturer Ford Motor Co, still company has a a plan to launch upcoming MUV/MPV, stating that this will not impact the Indian and Global Market.

Starting the launch with XUV 500 Mahindra aiming to launch 5-7 new SUV’s in upcoming 1-2 years. The product was spotted many time during testing, where the interior and exterior exposed.

The XUV spotted near Hubli, Karnataka. As seen in the images, it is the 7 seater variant. The last row will have two individual headrest, for added safety of passengers in the 3rd row.

Next Gen Mahindra XUV500 continue to sport cheetah inspired designs as was also seen on its earlier counterpart. All New XUV 500 making comeback with the extended platform and dimensions. Some highlight features on the new Mahindra XUV500 will also include segment first features such as ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System). Other design updates will include C shaped LED DRLs, projector LED lights, large LED tail lamps, a new Mahindra logo and flush type door handles. The LED DRLs on the front as well as the rear come with progressive lighting as seen on premium cars like Audi. New alloys will also be a part of these updates in single tone and dual tone options.

The 2021 XUV will be available in both petrol and diesel options. These are likely to include a 2.0 liter 190 hp mStallion turbo petrol engine and a 2.2 liter 180 hp mHawk diesel engine. Transmission options will available in 6 speed manual and 6 speed torque converter automatic transmissions and the new XUV500 is slated to be offered in 2WD and AWD format.

The expected price for 2021 Machindra XUV 500 can in the range of Rs. 13-20 Lakh. will compete the Tata Safari.
