Skoda Auto India recently revelaed its latest model for Indian Automobile market the all new Skoda Kushaq. Recently, Brand director of Skoda Auto India Zac hollins recently confirmed that the 2021 skoda octavia will launch in India in the coming months followed by Kushaq, all new skoda rapid, 2021 Skoda Kodiaq and the Rapid CNG.

2021 Skoda Octavia Specifications :
The 2021 Skoda Octavia will be bigger in dimensions, it will be 19mm longer and 15mm wider than the previous generation model. It will be powered by a 2.0 litre TSI BS6 engine producing 190hp mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox. The new generation won’t be available in a diesel engine option, Skoda may launch it in 48V mild hybrid varient which is currently available in some international markets.
Exterior Design :
The quad headlights have been replaced by single piece units, the german DNA have been carried foreward by the character and the sleek and sharp design of the Octavia, the body arcs running from the headlamps to the rear connecting the tail-lamps, the tail-lamp design has completely changed, the single piece lamp is now split into two’s. The rear skoda logo has been repaced by the skoda lettering alphabets.
Interior :
The 2021 will be more spacious and feature rich from the inside, the dashboard is totally new, it will get fully digital 10.25inch virtual cockpit, 10 inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android auto, dual zone climate control, connected car tech, powered front seats with memory, ambient lighting, panoramic sunroof, wireless phone charger, voice assistant and skoda’s smartlink, it will also be more spacious in the rear as compared to the previous generation model.
Estimated Price and Rivals:
The 2021 Skoda Octavia is expected to be priced around 18-24 lakh (ex-showroom). It will ultametely take over hyundai elentra which costs around 18-21 lakh ex-showroom, the Elantra is also available in diesel varient.
