The 2022 Hero Electric Optima CX is available in two variants: a single battery CX variant for Rs 62,190 and a dual battery pack CX ER (extended range) variant for Rs 77,490, both costs ex-showroom Delhi after Fame II subsidy.
Hero Electric Optima CX Range Colors and Models
The aesthetic of the Optima CX is similar to that of the Optima HX, with a basic and clean body design and LED headlights. It comes in three different colors: grey, blue, and white. The chassis has also been modified, according to the manufacturer, and is now 25% more durable.
2022 Hero Electric Optima Range
A 550W BLDC hub motor with a peak power of 1.2kW drives the Optima CX. It’s powered by a lithium Ferro phosphate battery pack with a 52.2V and 30Ah capacity. It takes 4-5 hours to fully charge the battery.
The e-scooter has a top speed of 45 kmph, which is somewhat higher than the Optima HX’s top speed of 42 kmph. The manufacturer claims to have increased the motor’s efficiency by 10%, while the brakes have been enhanced by 30% to handle that performance. The e-scooter is said to have a range of 82 kilometres, while the CX ER model is said to have a range of 140 kilometres.
A digital instrument cluster, cruise control, walk assist function, reverse mode, remote lock with anti-theft alarm, USB charging port, and LED headlights are just a few of the features. Featuring telescopic suspension and riding on 12-inch alloy wheels (90/90-section rubber), the scooters come with regenerative braking as well as features like reverse mode, walk assist and cruise control.
