In India, Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) unveiled the Honda Gold Wing Tour 2022. It was imported into our market as a CBU, resulting in an astronomically expensive price tag of Rs. 39.20 lakh (ex-showroom, Gurugram). Bookings for the tourer motorbike have begun at the brand’s BigWing Topline stores as of today.
2022 Honda Gold Wing Tour Engine and Transmission
Gunmetal Black Metallic is the only color option available (with a blacked-out engine finish). The 2022 Honda Gold Wing Tour is driven by a 1833cc liquid-cooled flat-six engine that produces 126 horsepower (at 5500 rpm) and 170 Nm of torque (At 4500 rpm). A 7-speed DCT with reverse gear takes care of the transmission tasks.
Tour, Sport, Econ, and Rain are the four riding modes available, each of which can change the suspension damping and the responsiveness of the Dual Combined Brake System. The motorbike is equipped with a double-wishbone front suspension and a pro-link rear suspension, as well as an aluminum (die-cast) twin-tube frame.

With a kerb weight of 390 kg and a turning radius of 3.4 metres, the 2022 Honda Gold Wing Tour is an unusually hefty motorcycle. Hill-start assist, ABS modulator (integrated with brake ECU), and even an airbag are among the safety measures available.

A 7-inch TFT MID (in the instrument console), an electrically-adjustable flyscreen, all-LED lighting, auto-cancelling indicators, cruise control, smart key (with integrated emergency key), an on-board audio & navigation system, and even a gyrocompass are among the other features available. Bluetooth connectivity, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and USB Type-C ports are just a few of the connectivity options available.
