2022 Mahindra Bolero Facelift Rumoured To Launch In January 2022

The Mahindra Bolero is without a doubt one of the most popular and best-selling SUVs in India. The SUV has been on the market for more than two decades and is quite popular among consumers in rural areas. Mahindra has been updating the Bolero on a regular basis, and the SUV is likely to get a new update in the near future.

According to a new media source, Mahindra would release a facelifted Bolero in January 2022 with minimal revisions. Earlier this year, the Mahindra Bolero facelift was spotted in the wild. Due to COVID-19-related constraints and a global shortage of semiconductor chips, the SUV launch was postponed.

Pre-orders for the Bolero facelift have already begun at a few Mahindra outlets. The improvements will be minor, with the most significant updates being a reworked front fascia and new colour options. A new grille and bumper paint scheme will be added to the Bolero facelift’s front fascia. New fog lamp housings have been included into the bumper design.

The Mahindra Bolero facelift in 2022 is expected to include additional colour options. The cabin is expected to remain same, although the manufacturer may include additional features and furnishings. The SUV will keep its current amenities, such as a Bluetooth-enabled audio system with AUX and USB inputs, a semi-digital instrument console, keyless entry, and manual air conditioning. Dual front airbags, anti-lock brakes with electronic brake distribution, rear parking sensors, speed alert, and seat belt reminder will all be standard.

The new Bolero will be driven by the same 1.5-litre diesel engine, which produces 74bhp and 210Nm of torque. A 5-speed manual gearbox transmits power to the rear wheels. Prices for the new model are expected to rise somewhat.

Mahindra has also confirmed the launch of the next-generation Bolero in 2024-25. The new vehicle is believed to be built on the same ladder-on-frame chassis as the Thar. It is expected to get new diesel and gasoline engine options that are more powerful.
