Production of updated 2022 Maruti Suzuki Baleno has commenced at the company’s manufacturing facility in Gujarat
Baleno, the country’s best-selling premium hatchback, will shortly receive a number of upgrades. Bookings for the new Baleno have begun, with a launch date of February 10th. It will continue to compete with the Hyundai i20, Tata Altroz, and Honda Jazz, among others.
The exteriors of the Maruti Baleno have been updated significantly. Components such as the grille, LED projector headlamps and DRLs, front bumper, fog lamp housing, and air dams have all been changed.

The side profile is nearly identical. At the back, the new Baleno features a redesigned tailgate, an updated bumper, and new L-shaped taillamps with LED accents. In comparison to the previous model, the redesigned Baleno is a lot sportier. Splendid Silver, Grandeur Grey, Opulent Red, and Celestial Blue are the four new colours.
The interior of the new Baleno is more fascinating, with a revised dashboard and a larger, free-standing touchscreen infotainment system. The Delta has a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system, while the Zeta and Alpha have a 9-inch infotainment system.

Connectivity options such as wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay will also be available. Suzuki Connect, Maruti’s proprietary communication platform, is expected to be supplied with top-spec Baleno versions.
A heads-up display (HUD), which will provide a variety of information, is another important innovation. Customization possibilities, on the other hand, are unlikely to be offered. Other changes to the new Baleno include a redesigned instrument cluster, a flat-bottom steering wheel, and AC vents that are positioned horizontally.

Maruti has used an improved version of the Heartect platform to ensure that it can work out safely. It’s also predicted that the new Baleno’s chassis and body panels will be made of a stronger steel. Customers that value safety may find a 4-star or 5-star safety rating for Baleno to be a good offer. In the premium hatchback market, the Tata Altroz currently boasts the highest 5-star safety rating.
Six airbags and an electronic stability programme are among the other new safety measures (ESP). These are most likely to come in high-spec versions. Immobilizer, ABS with EBD, dual airbags, rear parking sensors and camera, and high-speed warning are all available on existing Baleno models. The engine options for the new Baleno will be the same as they were previously. It comprises a 1.2-liter gasoline engine and a mild-hybrid variant that runs on 12 volts.
