Maruti Suzuki has also included a start/stop option in the new Swift model, which has helped to improve overall mileage. According to ARAI, the manual version gets 23.20 kmpl while the automated (AGS) version gets 23.76 kmpl. In comparison, the previous model got 21.21 kmpl.
The new model of the India-spec Swift, like the revised international-spec model, has a different front grille design than the previous-gen model. The grille has been given a cleaner appearance and now has a chrome accent. The outside design has remained almost unchanged.
Everything about the interior is the same, with the exception of fresh seat upholstery and an upgraded instrument cluster. The new Maruti Swift goes up against the Tata Tiago and the Hyundai Grand i10 Nios in the market.
