Mercedes-AMG and Santoni have teamed up to produce a set of luggage made entirely of Italian leather that will be exclusive to the Mercedes-AMG SL.
The three items in the set are constructed from the same Nappa leather as the Mercedes-AMG SL’s seat coverings.
The Mercedes-AMG SL, which will be released next year, will now include a custom baggage set from Santoni made of Italian leather. It was created to fit into the roadster’s boot. A beauty case, a backpack, and a weekender bag are included in the set.
All three goods, according to the business, are made of high-quality Nappa leather and will be available in three different colours.
Mercedes-AMG and Santoni have been working together since 2005. The customised Santoni baggage set is the right fit for the sumptuous AMG SL roadster, according to Philipp Schiemer, Chairman of the Board of Management of Mercedes-AMG GmbH. “The new Mercedes-AMG SL combines the greatest levels of comfort and refinement with exciting sportiness,” he continued.

The three items in the set are made of the same Nappa leather that the new car’s seat covers are composed of. The business also stated that the collection is available in a package or individually. The ‘Santoni for AMG’ logo will be discretely engraved on these pieces, which will be available in black, sienna brown, and red pepper.
It is a pleasure to showcase this tailored collection for Mercedes-AMG SL, said to Giuseppe Santoni, CEO of Santoni. “Mercedes-AMG and Santoni represent two worlds with a lot in common: exceptional craftsmanship, excellent quality, and meticulous attention to detail. “These qualities are also represented in our most recent collection,” Santoni remarked.

The AMG SL will be available in two versions: SL 55 and SL 63. These will be powered by a twin-turbo 4.0-litre V8 engine capable of producing 469 horsepower and 700 Nm of peak torque. The model’s higher variant will be capable of producing 577 horsepower and 800 Nm torque.
