2022 Yamaha XMax 250 Scooter Launched

With a starting price of RM 22,298 (INR 3.96 lakh) (ex-showroom), Yamaha recently introduced the new 2022 XMax 250 scooter in Malaysia. This model now offers new colour options and some minor cosmetic updates over the previous one. Here are all the details you need to know about the new 2022 Yamaha XMax 250, a well-liked product for the company even though the scooter is mechanically the same as the previous version.

First off, two new colour options—matt red and matte green—will be offered for the new 2022 Yamaha XMax 250. The scooter will additionally come standard with a two-year or 20,000 km warranty. Yamaha is also offering Yamaha safety disc lock worth RM 100 on each scooter purchase.

2022 Yamaha XMax 250 Engine

The new XMax 250 has a monochrome LCD instrument panel with a variety of features, including an odometer, trip metre, temperature gauge, and more. The scooter’s same 250cc liquid-cooled, single-cylinder, Euro 4-compliant engine produces 22.5 hp and 24.3 Nm of maximum torque.

This engine, which is paired with a CVT gearbox in the 2022 Yamaha XMax 250, has impressive performance and refinement levels. Additional standard features for the scooter include dual-channel ABS and traction control. Both the front and the rear disc brakes are in charge of stopping the vehicle.

In this sporty scooter for the masses, the suspension system consists of a 110 mm telescopic fork up front and a 79 mm mono-shock shock absorber down back. In case anyone is interested, the scooter has 14-inch wheels at the back and 15-inch wheels up front. Additionally, it boasts a kerb weight of 179 kg and a fuel tank capacity of 13 litres.

The new Yamaha XMax 250’s dimensions are 2185 mm long by 775 mm wide, with 795 mm for the seat height and 1540 mm for the wheelbase, respectively. The handlebars and windshield of this new performance scooter are manually adjustable, and the lighting is all LED. But it is not anticipated that the brand will launch this in India in near future.
