2023 BMW M3 CS Unofficial Rendering Peels Away The Camo And Cladding

The high-powered sedan could make as much as 540 horsepower.

BMW is working on a version of the M3 that is even more powerful. The new vehicle is already the subject of numerous rumours, with spy photographs tantalising the high-performance sedan. Motor.es has released a fresh unofficial drawing that removes the camouflage wrap to show how the 2017 BMW M3 CS will seem when it debuts.

Although spy pictures show BMW concealing the car’s front fascia with cladding, the drawing shows one interpretation of the prospective appearance. BMW’s huge kidney grille sits above an angular lower grille opening on the sedan. On the bumper’s edges, thin vertical intakes are positioned beneath slim headlamps. The M3 CS is expected to come equipped with M-specific headlights.

Rear-wheel drive will not be standard. According to the most recent leak, BMW will only offer the M3 CS with xDrive all-wheel drive and an automatic transmission. BMW, on the other hand, is said to be making up for the power losses. The sedan’s twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-six engine is said to produce 540 horsepower (397 kilowatts). The sedan will also get a lot of carbon-fiber elements, which will help it save weight and increase performance.

We won’t know what the car will look like until it starts to remove some of its front-end camouflage. BMW is redesigning the 3 Series, which will appear later this year, and the new M3 CS, as well as the rumoured BMW M3 Touring waggon, could inherit those exterior modifications. We won’t know until we can see more of the sedan, which could happen before the end of the year.

We don’t know when BMW will debut the new car, but it’s expected to go into production in March 2023, according to reports. BMW, it appears, has moved that date earlier from July. BMW will only make the vehicle for 11 months before ceasing production in February 2024. We also have no idea how many BMWs will be produced. When the car debuts, which could happen before the end of the year, we hope to learn everything we can about it. It is expected to be released next year.
