The X1, BMW India’s updated entry-level vehicle, is about to go on sale. Our sources claim that unofficial bookings for the new-generation BMW X1 have started at dealerships all over the nation. Although the company hasn’t made any official statements yet, we anticipate the X1 to go on sale in January 2023.
The new BMW X1 has sharper design features on the outside, such as a larger kidney grille, slim LED headlights, and revised LED DRLs. In comparison to the updated X3, the tail lamp design is also improved. The new X1 has an aggressive front bumper design and standard 17-inch wheels that can be upgraded to 20-inch wheels.
The dashboard design and overall aesthetic of the X1 are significantly redesigned inside. The new curved display, which runs the iDrive 8 OS, is installed in the cabin. Below that is a floating armrest over the centre console, which also doubles as a wireless charging pad for smartphones. This update also includes all current features and connectivity choices.
The X1 of the next generation is supported by the FAAR architecture. In the meantime, the X1 is offered with two 48V mild-hybrid gasoline and diesel engines on the global market. The seven-speed Steptronic gearbox that both engines are connected to also offers all-wheel drive as an option.
