2023 Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing Track Edition teased, Ahead of Launch

Cadillac is set to unveil special Track Edition variants of the CT4-V Blackwing in July, and the latest teaser provides further specifics ahead of its unveiling. More crucially, the company has revealed the exact day when ordering will begin.

Unlike the last teaser film, which revealed more of the external elements of the impending CT4-V Blackwing Track Edition, this one merely included a snapshot. Cadillac did, however, say in the social media post that the special edition automobiles will have distinctive interior kits, but specifications have yet to be released.

From what we gathered so far, the CT4-V Blackwing Track Edition will come with specific exterior details that set it apart from the regular Blackwings. It has a front splitter with an exposed carbon-fiber finish and IMSA branding, while the side sills and hood have stripes in Cadillac V Series color schemes. The white version also comes with dark red mirror caps.

Meanwhile, the Sebring circuit – where the Cadillac DPi-V.R race car tallied overall victories in the 12-hour races in 2019, 2021, and 2022 – is illustrated as an outline on at least one of the rear corner windows.

While not specifically stated, given the Track Edition models’ performance-oriented label, we may assume certain mechanical changes. This has yet to be confirmed, so don’t hold your breath. What we can be certain of is their restricted supply, which is currently unknown.

Cadillac earlier announced that the CT4-V Blackwing Track Edition versions will be available in July. If you want to buy one, you may start ordering on August 1, 2022. But don’t anticipate the reservation lines to be empty; remember that when the conventional CT4-V and CT5-V Blackwing sedans were introduced last year, the initial bookings filled in minutes.
