2023 Hyundai Grand i10 Nios Spied On Test For The First Time

Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) released the facelifted Venue a few months ago, and it has received positive feedback from customers. The new-generation flagship Tucson has also arrived in India, while the highly popular Creta is set to receive a mid-life update in the first half of next year, with significant changes both inside and out.

The 2023 Hyundai Grand i10 Nios Spied is currently the most affordable offering from the country’s second largest carmaker, and the brand may debut a micro SUV at the 2023 Auto Expo in January to strengthen its SUV portfolio, though no official confirmation has been made. The third-generation Hyundai Grand i10 Nios debuted in India in August 2019.

The Euro-spec i10 is expected to get a minor update in the coming months, and the first set of spy photos has arrived. The prototype does indicate that the hatch is nearing completion, implying that the launch could happen sooner rather than later. The side profile, front and rear of the test mule, which was painted blue on the outside, were covered in black canvas.

The headlamp cluster and bumper appear to have received a minor update, while the triangular-shaped fog lamp housings may have remained unchanged barring a different cut-out where the lights are positioned. The side profile does reveal the presence of a new set of two-tone alloy wheels, but everything else remains the same as before.

The reprofiled grille section receives black hexagonal inserts, as well as a more prominent LED lighting system organised in four parts in a circular pattern. It will be available in a variety of paint schemes, and the rear may be carried over with minor updates or none at all, as the tail lamps, bumper, and tailgate design, as well as an integrated spoiler and shark fin antenna, do not appear to have changed.

The interior will almost certainly get new features and technologies, and the 2023 Hyundai Grand i10 Nios could get similar updates next year. It costs between Rs. 5.42 lakh and Rs. 8.46 lakh (ex-showroom) and is powered by 1.2-litre Kappa VTVT petrol and 1.2-litre U2 CRDi diesel engines.
