2023 Hyundai Palisade Makes Global Debut

At the 2022 New York International Auto Show, the new Hyundai Palisade SUV had its global debut. The latest edition of the SUV, according to the company, is “the ultimate family vehicle for everyday use and memory-making road trips.” The 3.8L V6 Atkinson cycle DI, dual CVVT engine (291bhp/355Nm) is used in the three-row SUV with major design and function enhancements. An 8-speed automatic transmission with a multi-disc torque converter handles the transmission chores. The SUV is available with two different drive systems: 2WD and 4WD.

The redesigned Palisade has a new, broader cascading grille with parametric shield pieces and new vertically-connected LED composite lights at the front end, to name a few design modifications. The SUV has 20-inch multi-spoke alloy wheels with new strake detailing on the lower front skid plate elements, as well as panoramic side glass graphics and new strake detailing on the lower front skid plate elements. The three-row SUV’s rear profile has vertical LED taillamps and lower fascia skid plate elements.

The 2018 Hyundai Palisade’s interior has been updated with a new dashboard, steering wheel, and instrument cluster with reworked panels and fresh lighting. The audio controls have been repositioned slightly, and a strip has been added to the HVAC vents that runs from the instrument cluster to the passenger door. A full-display digital rearview mirror, a new Ergo-motion seat, wireless charging, heated third-row seats, and second-row seats with ventilation options and wing-out headrests are among the features available.

The new Hyundai Palisade for 2023 features a 12-inch navigation display, the latest generation of BlueLink linked services, WiFi hotspot, and USB-C connections that have been updated. The SUV is fitted with a Digital Key 2 Touch technology that works with both iPhone and Android devices. Rear side-impact airbags are now standard across the model lineup on the safety/assist side. Reverse collision assist, forward collision avoidance, remote parking, nav-based smart cruise, and highway driving aid are among the driver assistance features available.
