2023 Kia Seltos Facelift Revealed

2023 Kia Seltos Facelift Revealed With New Features

Kia was observed testing the new Seltos makeover in the Indian market earlier this year. The automobile has now been introduced on the worldwide market by the manufacturer. Kia initially introduced the redesigned Seltos to the Indian market in June 2019. The new Seltos facelift is a mid-life refresh that will be available in India in early 2023.

With a revised front end, the new Seltos clearly appears more premium. The mid-size SUV receives a new front appearance, with a new grille and headlights. Kia has also modified the look of the new LED Daytime Running Lamps, which now reach all the way to the grille. The design of the bumper is also new but still houses vertical fog lamps. Kia has updated the skid plate to add a bulkier look.

The profile gets new dual-tone alloy wheels. New Seltos facelift also offers black wheel arch cladding, black pillars, chromed window line, grey roof rails and lower black sills. The rear of the new Seltos facelift gets a newer design LED tail lamp strip covering the width of the vehicle with the new Kia logo.

A few improvements have also been made to the cabin. The most noticeable difference is the new black and dark brown dashboard options. With the newest UVO connect, Kia has integrated a new instrument cluster. Kia will also provide ADAS-based safety and convenience features in the foreign market.

The engine options will remain same. Kia will continue to offer 1.5-litre petrol, 1.5-litre diesel, and 1.4-litre turbocharged gasoline engines. Kia is anticipated to make a plethora of India-specific alterations to the Seltos before it goes on sale in the country.

Kia updated the Seltos last year

Last year, Kia introduced an upgraded Seltos to the Indian market with no visual modifications. The new iMT gearbox was available on the redesigned 2021 Kia Seltos. It is available with the model’s HTK+ petrol type. Kia has also released the 1.4-litre GTX(O) manual, which is now the top-of-the-line model. The Seltos iMT now has a sunroof, beige and black upholstery, and a fully automated air conditioner. There is also a silver garnish that contributes to the vehicle’s current appearance.

The Seltos also receives an air purifier that protects against viruses and germs. Other features include manual transmission remote engine start, wireless phone connectivity and projection, and extra voice commands on the UVO system to manage the sunroof and driver-side window.

Kia has also integrated safety features from pricier variations of the automobile to the entry-level models. Lower models of the automobile also have features like ESC, VSM, Brake Assist, and HAC.
