350cc Bikes Sales June 2022 | 350cc Bikes Sales In India

In June 2022, Royal Enfield’s classic 350 remained at the top of the 350cc Bikes sales standings in India. The latest generation Classic 350 was introduced last year and has received positive feedback, with volume numbers exceeding expectations in recent months. Last month, RE Classic 350 sold a total of 25,425 units.

When comparing 350cc bike sales to the same period in 2021, when 17,377 units were sold, a YoY positive sales increase of 46.3% was observed. The Meteor 350, which shares many similarities with the Classic 350, finished second with 8,645 units versus 8,770 units during the same period in 2021, with a YoY negative sales growth of 1.4%.

The Classic 350 and Meteor 350 are both built on a double cradle frame and powered by a revised 349 cc OHC engine that produces just over 20 hp and 27 Nm of peak torque. The same engine and transmission combination will be used in the upcoming Bullet 350. The next-generation Bullet has already been spotted testing on public roads.

Furthermore, the Royal Enfield Hunter 350, is expected to be the most affordable RE ever with a price tag of around Rs. 1.6 lakh (ex-showroom), will share underpinnings with the Classic and Meteor. Last month, Bullet 350 sold 5,893 units in the United States, compared to 5,317 units in the same period in 2021.

This resulted in a YoY 350cc bike sales increase of 10.8 percent, while the Electra finished fourth with a total of 4,363 units as opposed to 3,137 units during the same period last year, representing a 39 percent increase in volume. The Honda CB350 finished fifth with a total of 2,120 units versus 1,853 units in June 2021.

This resulted in a 14.4% increase in volume year on year. RE is developing a slew of new motorcycles, including the Himalayan 450 and a trio of 650 cc models, to further strengthen its presence in the 350-650 cc segment.
