5 Upcoming Maruti Cars Launching in 2023

Maruti Suzuki India Limited (MSIL) intends to introduce several new models over the next year or two. The country’s largest automaker will look to expand its domestic portfolio as well as enter new markets to increase its market share. The following are the top five upcoming Maruti Suzuki vehicles:

1. Maruti Suzuki Baleno Cross

Maruti Suzuki Baleno Cross

The Baleno Cross, also known as the YTB, will make its global debut at the 2023 Auto Expo in January before going on sale in the months that follow. It will most likely be built on the same Heartect platform as its premium hatchback sibling and powered by a 1.0-litre three-cylinder turbo petrol engine with 100 PS. It will be inspired by the Grand Vitara and will have a coupe-like roofline.

2. Five-door Maruti Suzuki Jimny

The Indo-Japanese manufacturer is also expected to showcase the five-door Jimny at the upcoming Auto Expo before its market launch. It will compete with the upcoming five-door Mahindra Thar and will have a longer wheelbase than the current three-door Sierra. It could be sold in a variety of seating configurations and will be powered by a 1.5-liter four-pot petrol engine.

3. Maruti Suzuki C-MPV

Toyota will debut the Innova Hycross in India on November 25, followed by its market debut at the 2023 Auto Expo. The badge-engineered version is expected to launch before the end of H1 2023, making it the first cross-badged Toyota to be supplied to Maruti Suzuki. It may borrow styling cues from the Grand Vitara and be powered by a 2.0-liter engine.

4. Next-gen Maruti Suzuki Swift

New-Gen 2023 Swift Spotted Testing

According to reports, the next-generation Maruti Suzuki Swift will be introduced in the first quarter of 2024. The all-new Swift will make its world debut sometime next year. The upcoming compact hatchback is expected to be powered by a 1.2-liter three-cylinder hybrid engine with a claimed fuel efficiency of 35-40 kmpl. It will be sold alongside the current 1.2-liter four-cylinder K12N petrol engine.

5. Next-gen Maruti Suzuki Dzire

The Dzire compact sedan will be released in Q1 2024 with the same powerful hybrid powertrain and best-in-class fuel economy of 35-40 kmpl. It will also have a new exterior and interior.
