7-Seater Kia Sonet is 120mm longer than India Specs.
The Indonesian Kia Sonet is 7-seater SUV and it’s a 120mm longer than the India specs sonet, equipped with additional third row. Second row can slide and tumble fold function.

Kia Motors finally unvield the seven seater version of Kia Sonet SUV in Indonesian Market. The 7-seater SUV renamed as Sonet 7 by company. The three-row SUV gets a similar styling and design like 5-seater Sonet sold in India, while company slightly extended the rear to accommodate the third-row. Infact, the 5-seater and 7-seater Sonet SUV sold in Indonesia both are more than 4-metre in overall length. Indonesia specs SUV has 4,120mm in length which is more than 120mm more compared to Indian version.However, other dimensions such as the width, height and wheelbase remain unchanged at 1790 mm, 1642 mm and 2500 mm, respectively.

Externally there is no such major change, similarly internal design and cabin remains same in the 5-seater Kia Sonet. Only two major differences are found in the extended SUV. In new launch SUV there is completely foldable new 50:50 split third row, by folding seats you can create a larger 392-litre more luggage space. The third-row seats can be accessed by slide and tumble folding the seats by creating 60:40 split.
Company kept the feature list unchanged similar to 5-seater. The extended Sonet comes with the same 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with UVO connected car technolog, Bose sound system, rear AC vents, wireless charger, ventilated front seats, pressure monitoring system and drive modes with traction control among other features. Additionally, the third-row get separate roof mounted air vent.

All new Kia Sonet 7 sold in Indonesian market available in four iteration -Standard, Smart, Dynamic and Premier. However, a big missing exclusive GT-Line variant in the Indonesian market available for India market only. The extended SUV sourced from the same 1.5-litre Smartstream petrol engine that is tuned to make 113 bhp at 6,300 rpm and a peak torque of 144 Nm at 4500 rpm. Engine is mated to a either 6-speed manual gearbox or an Intelligent Variable Transmission (iVT) unit. However, there is not anyindication for regarding Indian market, no at least no for now.
