7-Seater XUV300 Renamed as XUV400 Launch Next Year.

Mahidra’s XUV300 is the sub-compact SUV in the 4m segment that rivals Venue, Maruti Vitara Brezza and more. The SsangYong Tivoli based XUV 300 was adjusted in the sub 4-meter in length due to barriers. The SsangYong Tivoli is also available in 7-seater option, similarly Mahindra expecting with XUV. Team Autobizz reported the 7-seater XUV 300 launch timeline back in 2019 with code name s204. However, now it is expected that the 7-seater version will go on sale by next year. While, company recently filed a trademark registration for the name – XUV 400 and which be on scale as a7-seater XUV300.

Mahindra XUV400 is codenamed as S204 and is likely to be launched next year.

The overall front fascia of the XUV will be expected same as the XUV300, but obviously Mahindra will revised for more trendy and distinctive look. This similar design approach used by UV giant with the TUV300 and TUV 300 plus. However, XUV 400 will be expected with better road presence due to proper proportionate rather than the short-tail XUV300. We also expect the rear end of the Mahindra is extended moreover like a XUV 500, as company is planning to discontinue the iconic SUV from the segment to replace with a better XUV 700 launch commence in Q2-Q3.

Mahindra has recently filed a trademark registration for the XUV400 name.

The overall increase in body length will come from extended rear hang. The XUV’s extended rear space utilised for the increased cabin space for an extra row of seats. Additionally Mahindra may come up with different alloy wheel option for the new sub-compact 7-seater SUV. Talking about more rear profile the update will include redesigned rear with complete new resculpted bumpers and boot door.

Under the hood, powertrain, engine option on Mahindra XUV will comes with 1.5L mStallion turbo-petrol motor and a 1.5L oil burner. The engine will produce  a max power output of 161 Hp, while the latter will develop 121 Hp.The gearbox options available as a 6-speed MT and a 6-speed AMT.
