Tata Motors has quietly added a new XZS type to its Harrier SUV portfolio. It sits between the base XZ and the top-of-the-line XZ+ trims. The XZS dual-tone and XZAS dual-tone variants of the new Tata Harrier XZS cost Rs 20.20 lakh and Rs 21.50 lakh, respectively.
The XZS and XZAS Dark Edition models are priced at Rs 20.30 lakh and Rs 21.60 lakh, respectively, with the XZAS variant costing Rs 21.30 lakh. All of the prices listed are ex-showroom, Delhi. The new Tata Harrier XZS model is roughly Rs 1.25 lakh – Rs 1.30 lakh more expensive than the XZ. It costs roughly Rs 35,000 less than the top-of-the-line XZ+ trim.

The new Harrier XZS model comes equipped with 17-inch dual-tone alloy wheels, a 6-way adjustable driver seat, a panoramic sunroof, adjustable lumbar support, and an auto dimming IRVM. When compared to the XZ+, it lacks the iRA linked car technology and ventilated front seats.

Its engine has not been altered in any way. The 2.0L diesel engine in the new Tata Harrier XZS model produces 170PS and 350Nm. The SUV is available with both a 6-speed manual and an automatic transmission. According to reports, the business will upgrade the Harrier model lineup with a new 1.5L turbo petrol engine in the mid-life. ADAS (advanced driver assistance system), a 360-degree camera, a new infotainment system, automatic parking brake, a fully digital instrument cluster, and ambient lighting are all expected to be included in the Harrier facelift.
