Audi is ready to launch the new all-electric Audi e-tron in India which will also be the first all electric car from Audi for India. German Auto major on Wednesday takes Twitter to announce a launch date. The battery-powered luxury SUV will go on sale in India starting from 22nd July.

The all new Audi e-tron has already arrived in selected dealerships across country and the car will be soon available for pre-booking. The car will be direct rival to the new Mercedes-Benz EQC and Jaguar I-pace.

The Audi e-tron is already on sale in world markets and making decent business for the company. And the automaker has managed to sell 17,641 units in first half of 2020. The car was also recently spotted at Aurangabad Dealership.

Audi e-tron Drivetrain and Performance

The Audi e-tron gets a 71.2 kWh battery pack with a double charger onboard. Audi claims the driving range of somewhere between 282 km and 340 km on a full charge. The driving range can deffer depends upon the various factors like terrain, occupants, drive patterns.

The luxury SUV is able to sprint at 0-100 kmph in just 6.8 sec. with having a top speed of about 190kmph. A 150kW DC fast charger charges the battery from 0 to 80 percent in just 30 minutes.

Audi e-tron Features

The e-tron gets four-zone climate control, wireless charging, ambient lighting, and power-adjustable front seats. It also features a digital instrument cluster, a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a panoramic sunroof, and a powered tailgate.

The electric SUV will be available in two body styles – e-tron and e-tron Sportback. Audi is expected to estimate this all-electric SUV somewhere between 1 to 1.30 crore(expected).
