New Volkswagen polo 6th generation
6th gen Volkswagen Polo to use the MQB-A0 platform. which is the smallest platform at present being used by the German automaker. This platform has effectively been referred to as MQB-A0-IN. It can also be seen in recently launched Volkswagen Taigun and Skoda Kushaq.
Globally, Volkswagen Polo is in its 6th gen, which was launched in 2017. But, India has the fifth-gen Polo, which was launched back in 2010. It is normal that fifth-gen Polo will keep on soldiering on for a couple more years. Volkswagen is yet to settle on Polo’s future in the Indian market. yet it’s normal that another gen variation can get in here by 2023.
Skoda Octavia Pro to launch in May.
Skoda took covers off from the new Octavia Pro which is primarily a long-wheelbase version, of the existing fourth-generation Octavia In market. The made its debut in China a few days back and has been grown only for the Chinese market. remembering the popularity of convoy-driven vehicles in the country.
Octavia Pro accompanies a more extended wheelbase and more familiar luxuries. Compared to fourth-gen Octavia that made its debut in Europe last year. Talking about its measurements, it is 64mm longer than the standard Octavia and adds 44mm to its wheelbase.
This New Skoda Octavia is probably not going to make it to the Indian market at any point in the future. Instead of that India will get the standard new-gen Octavia which is scheduled to launch by May this year.
Ford intends two more electric SUVs
Ford apparently plans to bring out two electric SUVs which will be offered close by the Mach-E. The Mach-E has gotten a solid introductory reaction from customers. Alongside the more prominent selection of electric vehicles in the US – might be the two major main thrust behind this.
As per the reports, one SUV will be under the Ford brand and the other will be under Lincoln. Both SUVs will be manufactured at the company’s plant in Mexico, which also home to Mach-E. The projects have been codenamed CDX746 and CDX747.
Nissan, Nio, Stellantis cut extra production
Nissan, Stellantis NV, and electric vehicle maker Nio announce new production cuts as a result of a global semiconductor chip shortage. Chip shortage has cost the worldwide car industry 130,000 vehicles in lost production. with the heaviest effect in North America, with 74,000 units lost, and Western Europe, with 35,000 lost.
The current chip shortage is the aftereffect of elements, including pandemic-related work stoppages, expanded interest, and broken transportation coordination. Ford Motor, Honda Motor, General Motors, and Volkswagen were among the companies impacted.
2021 BMW M 1000 RR
The new BMW M 1000 RR, launched in India. It is introduced in two variations of BMW M 1000 RR, at Rs. 42 lakhs and the M 1000 RR Competition at Rs.45 lakhs (ex-display area). Both variations are the performance bikes from the BMW.
The new 1000 RR comes in as a totally developed unit. It is the first M model from BMW Motorrad in Quite a while. Bookings are opened at vendors across India. The new BMW M 1000 RR is among the top offering lineup from the maker. The bike is available in three variations namely Standard, Pro, and Pro MSport, and priced at Rs. 19.50 lakhs, Rs. 21.40 lakhs and Rs. 23.75 lakh (ex-showroom).
