The Bajaj Dominar 400 is a very capable motorbike because it was the one who instigated the Indian segment’s price war. Bajaj Auto moved forward with the larger 373.2 cc, liquid cooled engine at a price where owning a high-end 200 Duke was barely a pipe dream. Dominar 400 has a 6-speed gearbox with a slipper clutch for easy shifting and a 35 HP and 35 Nm of torque rating. The potential tourer’s stock configuration lacks wind shielding, so Autologue Design from Pune developed the ideal fix.
The hottest item on the automotive market is this fully loaded Dominar Tourex kit. The custom modification gives the motorcycle a larger windscreen and a quarter fairing while still maintaining the components. It’s difficult to tell that the modifications were made because they are so well done looking. When the rider adds the extra luggage accoutrements and lights, things get even better. On the Dominar 400, there is an option to add a bash-plate (engine under-guard) and bungee hooks.
The bash-plate costs INR 4,000, while the quarter fairing costs INR 12,000 (about). Bungee hooks will increase the modification by another INR 2,000. Depending on the demands of the rider, the choice of bags and other accessories can be made by going to Autologue Design. On April 5, 2017, construction on the Dominar 400 will begin. The upgrades will enable the rider to transport more luggage, enjoy the trip with better wind protection, and carry more. On the Dominar Tourex, the motorcycle’s performance is maintained at stock levels.
