Bajaj Dominar 400 Features
The Bajaj Dominar 400 got a slew of touring goodies as standard in its latest iteration. The list includes a smoked visor, handguards, engine bash plate, engine guard, pillion backrest, rear luggage rack, navigation mount, and a USB charging port. You can even buy a saddle stay for an added premium. Underpinnings include a chunky inverted fork, a front radial brake caliper, and a DOHC setup, just like the KTM 390 Duke. Bajaj has given the Dominar 400 LED illumination throughout.
You get two digital information panels on the Dominar 400. The primary one houses the speedometer, tachometer, real-time and average fuel consumption indicator, fuel gauge, and a side-stand warning. The secondary panel, mounted on the fuel tank has trip meters, an odometer, a gear position indicator, and a clock.
Bajaj Dominar 400 Engine
The Bajaj Dominar 400 makes use of the KTM-sourced 373cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine. The motorcycle makes 40PS and 35Nm. It works in conjunction with a six-speed gearbox with a slip-and-assist clutch.
Bajaj Dominar 400 Suspension & Brakes
Built on a perimeter frame, the Dominar 400 gets a 43mm open cartridge USD fork, similar to the one on the KTM 390 Duke. The monoshock, on the other hand, is preload adjustable. Its radial front brake caliper acts on a large 320mm rotor, while there’s a 230mm rotor with a single-piston caliper at the rear. Dual-channel ABS remains standard. The 17-inch alloy rims come shod with MRF radial tyres.
