When your passion won’t let you settle for less, you’ll end up with inventions like this classic Benelli TNT 300 with a Ducati outfit. The TNT 300 streetfighter’s body parts were swapped for Ducati 899 Panigale parts in Vietnam, keeping the foundations true to Benelli with the same frame and suspension components.
Even the LED headlamps were borrowed from the original model, giving this motorcycle a look that is nearly identical to the Ducati 899 Panigale. Many bike lovers would be unable to tell that this replica is not an original Ducati due to its strong resemblance to the real model.
The Benelli engine’s performance has not changed, and it still produces a maximum output of 38.26 BHP. The 899 Panigale, on the other hand, has a maximum power output of 146BHP.
The modified TNT 300’s smaller disc brakes reveal that it isn’t an exact reproduction of the Ducati 899 Panigale, but it is unquestionably the closest possible replica of the original sportbike.
The aftermarket SC-Project exhaust system should improve the sound, but it won’t close the gap between the original Ducati 899 Panigale superbike and the Benelli TNT 300 streetfighter’s power figures.
The Benelli TNT 300 is a naked streetfighter that offers more customization choices in terms of fairing attachments than comparable bikes that come with factory fairings. This was the best way for the owner to realise his ambition of owning a Ducati Panigale superbike.
With the advent of BS6 emission rules in India, Benelli withdrew the TNT 300 as a stock model. Benelli is rumoured to be replacing the TNT 300 with the 302S in the near future.
