BMW XM Label Launched In India At Rs 3.15 Crore, Limited Edition

For Rs 3.15 crore (ex-showroom), BMW has introduced the high-performance SUV under the XM Label in India. There are only 500 units of the even more performance-focused special version of the XM plug-in hybrid available worldwide, with only one reserved for the Indian market.

BMW XM Label: Exterior

The red exterior features of the XM Label set it apart from the norm. The rear diffuser, the side glass housing, and the grille surround all have Toronto Red accents. Red finish even extends to the brake callipers. The unit arriving in India is finished in BMW Individual Frozen Carbon Black metallic and sits on 22-inch M light alloy wheels.

BMW XM Label: Interior

The inside has a bold color pattern of red and black. The upholstery in the cabin is a combination of black and red, with red accent stitching on the lower part of the seat and red finishing on the top areas. Other areas of the cabin, like the doors, dashboard, and center console, have red highlights visible. A special “1 of 500” badge will be placed beneath the central touchscreen on the XM Label.

BMW XM Label: Features

The XM Label is equipped with a plethora of features, including adaptive LED headlamps, six-color ambient lighting, soft close for all doors, a powered tailgate, four-zone climate control, M sports seats with memory, massage, and electric adjustment, heated and cooled front seats, a 14.9-inch touchscreen, head-up display, a 1475W Bowers & Wilkins 3D sound system, and more.

BMW XM Label: Powertrain

However the engine is the standout feature of the XM Label. With a peak torque of 1000 Nm and 737 horsepower more than the ordinary model, the 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 plug-in hybrid powertrain allows the XM Label to reach 100 kmph in a claimed 3.8 seconds. With the M Driver’s Package, which comes standard and removes the electronically regulated peak speed of 250 kmph, the XM Label’s top speed is 290 kmph.

The SUV’s hybrid powertrain can go up to 82 kilometers in electric vehicle mode thanks to an underfloor 25.7 kW battery. The cost includes installation and a wallbox charger.
