Believe it or not, there’s just one Indian in the whole world who owns the insanely rare and super expensive Bugatti Chiron—and nope, it’s not Ambani or Adani. It’s a guy named Mayur Shree, and he bought this beast for a mind-blowing $10.7 million (around ₹88 crore!).
We all know Ambani fam loves their fancy cars—especially Rolls-Royces—but even they don’t have this level of flex. The Bugatti Chiron is not just a car, it’s literally art on wheels. Custom-built, ultra-luxurious, and ridiculously fast—Mayur Shree just took the desi car game to another level!
You’d think Mukesh Ambani or Gautam Adani would be the first names to pop up when talking about crazy expensive cars, right? But nope. The only Indian on the planet who owns the legendary Bugatti Chiron is Mayur Shree—an Indian-origin entrepreneur based in the US.
This guy flexed hard by picking up the Chiron at the RM Paris collector car auction, dropping a jaw-dropping ₹88 crore (yes, eighty-eight crore) on it. 😳 That’s around $10.7 million, btw. Just wild.
Fun fact: Bugatti originally made the Chiron Profilée as just a showpiece—not even meant for sale! But plans changed, and when it did hit the auction block, Mayur snagged it like a boss.
Who exactly is Mayur Shree?
He’s a big-shot Indian-American real estate entrepreneur—and clearly a proper petrolhead. His car garage is every car lover’s dream, and now that dream garage includes one of the most iconic hypercars ever made. Oh, and his Bugatti? Totally custom-built. No one knows the final price because with Bugatti, every build is different—and stupidly expensive.
However, according to CarDekho, the one that Mayur Shree bought is a Bugatti Chiron Sport 2021, which has a market price of up to Rs 28 crore. The car is truly super exclusive with only 100 of them on the entire planet.
Mayur, whose car collection includes other exclusive automobiles, including the McLaren P1, Porsche GT3 RS, Aston Martin DBS Superleggera, Lamborghini Aventador Spyder, Urus, and Gallardo, is also the first owner of a Chiron in Texas, US.
