On September 16, 2021, Citroen unveiled the new C3 subcompact automobile in India. The new model is expected to hit the market in the first half of 2022, most likely in March or April. The fresh inside pictures of the Citroen C3 have been revealed by the business.
The South Korean variant’s interior colour scheme differs drastically from the India-spec model. The new Citroen C3 is said to have “huge dimensions, one of the best back areas, comfy seats, convenient storage locations, and a high driving position,” according to the firm.
The Citroen C3 is built on a simplified version of the CMP modular platform, which will also be used to underpin future Citroen vehicles for the Indian market. The new C3 is under 4 metres long, at 3.98 metres to be exact. It has a 180mm ground clearance, which is more than enough to handle Indian road conditions. The new small vehicle has a 315-litre cargo and a segment-leading 1 litre glove compartment. The new Citroen C3 is said to have a tiny footprint and a turning radius of just ten metres. It is stated, however, that it has segment-leading internal room as well as multiple cubby holes for storage.
Citroen claims that the new C3 will have around 78 customization possibilities, including chrome elements, up to eight seat covers, sound system function equipment, protective features, and more.
The new Citroen C3 sub-4 metre variant boasts a 10-inch touchscreen entertainment system with a wide range of connection options. Voice command, as well as wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, will be available.
There are three USB connections for quick charging and a 12V plug on the device. The company’s main goal is to create a perfect cabin for cell phone integration. The new model will include strategic locations for mounting the device in the console, including two near the AC vents and one in the centre. The new vehicle is expected to come with two engine options: a 1.2L normally aspirated petrol with 81 horsepower and a 1.2L turbocharged petrol with 100 horsepower.
