4/26 is a good time to reveal who will be cooking up Hemi-powered donuts for a year.
Many firms in the United States are now having difficulty filling crucial roles. Meanwhile, 173,500 individuals “applied” to be Dodge’s chief donut maker, which has nothing to do with baked products, as you might expect. Preston Patterson, a North Carolina citizen, was picked as the winner and was handed the position.

What does Patterson get in exchange for his lengthy interview? The main donut maker will get a $150,000 award as well as the keys to a new Dodge Challenger Hellcat for a year. Patterson will probably use it as a “business car” while fulfilling his duties as a tyre killer and brand spokesperson for Dodge during the following 12 months.

“To go from having a Dodge Viper poster on my bedroom wall to being given the keys to a Dodge Challenger Hellcat as my corporate car is beyond my wildest expectations,” Patterson remarked after winning. “I’m completely prepared for my first job as chief donut maker, and I’m excited to represent Dodge and the Brotherhood of Muscle at some amazing automotive events in the next year, particularly Roadkill Nights this summer.”

Patterson and finalist Lauren F. whipped a pair of Challenger Hellcats around the racetrack at Radford Racing School in Chandler, Arizona, in the Final challenge. Burnouts, autocrossing, and donuts were interspersed with key Dodge trivia questions that every brand representative should be able to solve. There’s also symmetry in the fact that the winner will be announced on April 26, which is unofficial Hemi Day, which honours the original 426 cubic-inch Hemi V8 engine.
“We were blown away by our 10 finalists, and how each uniquely exemplified the absolute best of the Dodge brand,” stated Dodge CEO Tim Kuniskis, after a nearly four-month hunt for our top donut maker. “We put our candidates to the test on and off the track, and Preston never lifted a weight, demonstrating that he has the knowledge, character, and determination to represent the Brotherhood of Muscle.”
