Tesla has launched the Tesla Model S Plaid the fastest production car in the world
Tesla CEO Elon Musk, Has launched the performance version of The Tesla Model S which is projected as the fastest production car in the world. The Tesla Model S Plaid was launched in an event held at an electric vehicle manufacturer’s Fremont facility in California. Elon himself drove the car on stage before hosting the event.

Tesla Model S Plaid Price
Tesla Model S Plaid is launched at the starting price of $129,990( almost Rs.95 Lakh converted in Indian Rupees). The price of the car was hiked by $10,000 just before the event along with a hike to some other models too. The Price of the performance model is too high when compared to the normal Tesla Model S which is $79,000.

Tesla Model S Plaid Performance

As the company claims the car can go 0-60mph in 1.99sec and can reach the top speed of 200mph(320kmph). Thanks to the engine that helps it to generate 1020 horsepower. And Tesla claims the driving range of 405mi(650km) on a single charge.
On the top speed of the car, the company later clarified that the max speed of 200mph can be achieved with the help of proper wheels and tires. The Model S Plaid comes with a 19inch alloy wheel as standard and can be upgraded to 21inch as well.

Tesla Model S Plaid Charging and Driving Range
The car can go 187miles(300km) on 15 minutes charge using its Superchargers. According to Mr. Musk car can charge so fast that it can be charged over a coffee break. Talking about this Musk also added that the company has also grown the vast network of superchargers around the globe which is now grown up to 25,000 stations.

The Tesla Model S Plaid will rival Porsche, Mercedes-Benz, and other electric carmakers in the market. The deliveries of the car will start on the launch day itself. Talking about the India launch the car has a very low chances to get in the Indian market anywhere around.
