Citroen made its Indian debut with the introduction of the new C5 Aircross, and the company is now extending its product lineup in the nation. The company previously unveiled the redesigned C3 and is presently working on a new electric vehicle for India. According to sources, the next Citroen EV in India will be an all-electric version of the C3 that will launch in December 2023. Here’s all you need to know about the impending Citroen C3 EV.

The Citroen C3 is built on a localized version of the brand’s modular CMP platform, and the car’s forthcoming electric version will use the same underpinnings. Furthermore, the firm is likely to sell this new electric C3 with a two-wheel drive powertrain driven by a single motor.

Details concerning the battery pack are also unknown. According to several sources, the brand will use the 50kWh battery pack that comes standard with the Opel Corsa-e. The Open Corsa-e is now on the market in Europe and has a stated range of roughly 350 kilometers on a single charge.

Other features might include linked automobile technology, cruise control, wireless phone charging, and so on. The basic C3 is anticipated to retain the same 10-inch infotainment system. This system includes Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, as well as Bluetooth and other functions.

When it is presented in the Indian market, the new Citroen C3 electric will compete with rivals such as the Tata Tigor EV and the future Tata Altroz EV.
