Another big milestone for India on the global motorsport stage. Arjun Maini will be the first Indian to race in the DTM, joining Mercedes-AMG affiliated team GetSpeed Performance for the 2021 season of the German touring car racing series.

What is the DTM racing series ?
The DTM, Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters (meaning German Touring Car Masters) is a touring car series sanctioned by ITR e.V. who have been affiliated to the DMSB-FIA since 1984. It’s more like F1 with silhouette car.
It will consist of 8 rounds with 16 races across Germany/Europe.

About Arjun Maini
23-year-old Indian racing driver and enthusiast, Arjun Maini has also competed in FIA Formula 2 Championship with Trident Racing. As well as Campos Racing. Maini’s are also known as family of racers. His brother Kush is also a racer competing in the Formula Renault Eurocup.
His father, Gautam, raced in the National Racing Championship in the late 1990s, at the Formula India Single Seater Maruti Engine. Must say truly a driven family.
