First Mahindra Scorpio-N Delivered On The First Day Of Navratri

After its unveiling a few weeks ago, the Mahindra Scorpio-N piqued the public’s interest. When bookings for the Scorpio-N opened, the new SUV from Mahindra shattered all previous records, collecting nearly 1 lakh bookings in just 30 minutes. Needless to say, the new Scorpio-N is Mahindra’s new blockbuster, and the company has finally begun delivering the Scorpio-N to customers.

Mahindra Scorpio-N deliveries have begun on the auspicious occasion of the first day of the nine-day Navratri festival. Several people who have received their Scorpio-N deliveries have shared their delivery experiences on social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and WhatsApp. Mahindra is delivering all Scorpio-N variants in the order and priority of bookings received.

After years of anticipation, the new Mahindra Scorpio-N will be unveiled in India in June 2022. Mahindra chose to keep the older Scorpio generation by rebranding it as the Scorpio Classic, with the new Scorpio-N positioned as a more premium offering with new-generation features. The new Mahindra Scorpio-N is currently the only three-row four-wheel-drive SUV priced under Rs 25 lakh, making it an exclusive combination of a family vehicle and an off-road SUV.

The new Mahindra Scorpio-N feels plusher than the Scorpio Classic, thanks to leather upholstery and soft-touch plastics. It gets a sunroof, premium Sony music system, 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with OTA updates, Apple Carplay and Android Auto, powered driver’s seat, wireless charger, and many other modern features that were not available in previous Scorpio iterations. It also gets Mahindra’s new-generation 4XPLOR four-wheel-drive system, which comes with multiple drive modes.

The new Mahindra Scorpio-N has two engine choices: a 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine and a 2.2-litre four-cylinder diesel engine. The petrol engine has a maximum power output of 203 PS and a peak torque output of 370 Nm with a 6-speed manual transmission and 380 Nm with a 6-speed automatic transmission.

Mahindra Scorpio-N Recall

Mahindra recently issued a mass recall for the XUV700 diesel manual and automatic variants, as well as the Thar diesel variants. The petrol variants of the XUV700 have also been recalled.

A new turbocharger actuator linkage will be installed in the XUV700 and Thar diesel variants. The T-Block connector installations on the Gas Vent Pipes and canister will be checked on the petrol XUV700. The manufacturer has not disclosed the number of affected units.
