The SE variant of Ford’s EcoSports spied a few weeks ago and now, Ford has officially teased the SE of the EcoSport via twitter and Instagram. This shows that, the two variants of EcoSport will be same, with no the spare wheel mounted on the tailgate side.
Variant probability

The major highlight of the SE trim is in the design department as we can see no Tail-gate mounted spare wheel. The SE variant looks same to the EcoSport sold in other international markets. The number plate holder moved up to the center of the tailgate and it comes along with a horizontal chrome design.

The SE variant will get LED DRLs, projector headlamps, halogen tail-lamps, 8-inch touchscreen infotainment unit ( Android and Apple devices ), electric sunroof, keyless entry and much more. No provision for spare wheel in SE variant. As spare wheel is missing, they will be providing a TPMS (Tyre Pressure Monitoring System) and a puncture repair kit.
