Hero MotoCorp has announced the debut of the new Hero Destini 125 Xtec in the Indian market. The range-topping model is priced at Rs. 79,990 (ex-showroom), while the STD variant is priced at Rs. 69,900. The Glamour Xtec and Pleasure Plus Xtec are already accessible in the domestic market, therefore the homegrown two-wheeler maker has been extending the Xtec in quick succession in recent months.
To explain the Rs. 10,000 price difference from the ordinary entry-level model, it receives a variety of design and functionality improvements. The 2022 Hero Destini 125 Xtec has a new LED headlamp, and chrome highlights add to the scooter’s premium feel. A new Nexus Blue paint scheme, as well as a front USB port, are among the features.
SMS and phone alerts are possible via app functionality thanks to Bluetooth connectivity, and the side stand engine cutoff function and seat backrest are also included in the equipment list. Malo Le Masson, Head of Strategy & Global Product Planning at Hero MotoCorp, commented on the new launch:

Matte Black, Pearl Silver White, Nobel Red, Panther Black, Chestnut Brown, and Matte Ray Silver are some of the other colorways available for the Hero Destini 125. According to the manufacturer, the new LED headlight offers better intensity and hence a longer and wider reach on the road, while anti-fog enables superior visibility in all driving circumstances.
The rearview mirrors and muffler guard are chromed, and Xtec badging, as well as colored interior panels and a two-tone seat finish, are visible. The Hero Destini 125 Xtec model retains the same 124.6 cc single-cylinder BSVI compliant air-cooled fuel-injected engine that produces 9 horsepower and 10.4 Nm of peak torque and is mated with a CVT. Hero’s unique i3S start/stop technology is included.
