You’ve probably seen hundreds of modified bikes with unique features that are actually only found on larger, more powerful bikes. This time, a unique Hero Honda CD Deluxe in a matte grey tint has been delivered online. Simran Accessories, based in Dhanbad, has made the entire alteration (Jharkhand).

The motorcycle uses as many stock components as possible to keep costs down while providing a view that is uncommon on most modified motorcycles. The front and rear tyres support the original front fender, thicker rear tread, and chrome-black alloy wheels. To make room for the most amazing motorcycle equipment, the modifications removed the back fender. Yes, what you see is real and works as intended.

The right side is kept empty and helps create a balance between the two sides thanks to the dual under-seat exhausts. The spectacular exhaust outlets under the seat are joined by the early curve of the exhaust pipe around the Kickstarter.

Even the stock seat has been replaced with a cafe racer seat with ribbed cushioning. Even though there isn’t much room for the pillion to balance in, the CD Deluxe’s rear footpegs are still present.

The stock handlebar was replaced with this clip-on-style handlebar made specifically for cafe racers. Bar end mirrors finish off the whole look. This cafe racer’s front end is equipped with an aftermarket headlamp with two projectors.

The engine on the Hero Honda CD Deluxe is a 97.2cc single cylinder. The Splendor Plus of today uses the same motor, albeit with a different tuning. The cafe racer has a 7.6 BHP and 7.5 Nm torque rating.

Due to the absence of various components, including the OEM exhaust and rear fender arrangement, the original weight of 107 kg must have decreased. In order to lose even more weight, the front headlight is also replaced with this circular unit, leaving the stock headlight and its shielding in place. The modifier claims that the entire cost of the modification is close to INR 30,000.
