Hero Xpulse 200 4v Rally Edition Deliveries Start In India

Hero MotoCorp had launched the XPulse 200 4V Rally Edition in India at a price of ₹1.52 lakh (ex-showroom). It comes with several upgrades over the standard version of the motorcycle.

Almost a month after its launch, Hero MotoCorp has begun shipping the XPulse 200 4V Rally Edition motorcycles to India. The new XPulse 200 4V Rally Edition bikes, which cost 1.52 lakh rupees, were distributed to buyers at a Bengaluru event. The largest two-wheeler producer in the world, Hero MotoCorp, reported that 100 of its initial units have already been delivered to customers. The off-road motorcycle was presented at a ceremony to officially open the first Xpulse Xperience Center of the two-wheeler manufacturer in India. Soon, Hero MotoCorp will open additional such locations throughout India.

The entry-level ADV Hero XPulse 200 4V Rally Edition has a factory-installed rally kit. Among other features, the bike has LED headlights with DRL units and a digital instrument panel with Bluetooth connectivity. It is available with a fully adjustable 10-step 220 mm rear suspension in addition to a fully adjustable 250 mm front suspension. The off-road motorcycle has 270 mm of ground clearance, which is about 50 mm more than the standard models. It has dual-purpose tyres on 21-inch front and 18-inch rear spoke wheels with a longer 1,426 mm wheelbase.

The Hero Xpulse 200 4V Rally Edition comes equipped with a 200 cc single-cylinder, oil-cooled, fuel-injected, 4-stroke engine. It is the same unit used in the standard version of the motorcycle. The engine is capable of churning out 18.9 bhp of maximum power and 17.35 Nm of peak torque. The engine is mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox.

Hero MotoCorp’s Xpulse Xperience Center is designed to provide training courses to its clients. The training will equip the participants with riding skills across three disciplines that vary in difficulty. According to Ranjivjit Singh, Chief Growth Officer at Hero MotoCorp, “Hero MotoCorp has consistently presented products and initiatives that appeal to the adventure-seeking motorcyclists. Hero MotoCorp was a pioneer in the adventure biking segment. The Hero Xpulse 200’s iconic off-road experience is captured in the Xpulse Xperience Center, which was created to satisfy the riding passion of ardent bikers.

Those taking part in the training programme will learn essential off-road riding skills like off-road setup, body posture, slalom and braking, incline and decline, fallen bike recovery, balance points, garage turns, brake slide, walk the bike and more.
