Honda Cars India Ltd (HCIL) on Friday declared the recall of 77,954 units. Of select models in India. To supplant flawed fuel pumps in an activity, it began last year.
The fuel pump introduced in these vehicles may contain deficient impellers. Which could after some time bring about engine halting or not starting, Honda Cars India said in a proclamation.
The review impacts models, Amaze, fourth-gen City, WR-V, Jazz, Civic, BR-V, and CRV, which have been manufactured between January 2019 and September 2020.
The organization said 36,086 units of Amaze manufactured between January – August 2019 and 20,248 units of the fourth Gen City created between January – September 2019 have been reviewed. Additionally, 7,871 units of WR-V and 6,235 units of Jazz made between January-August 2019 are affected by the review, it added.

5,170 units of Civic carried out in January-September 2019; 1,737 units of BR-V created between January and October 2019. And 607 units of CRV manufactured between January 2019 and September 2020 will likewise go under review.
The substitution will be completed liberated from cost at HCIL businesses across India. In a staged way, beginning from April 17, 2021, and the proprietors are being reached independently, the organization said. A year ago in June, the organization had reviewed 65,651 units of various models. Including Amaze, City, and Jazz created in 2018 to supplant flawed fuel siphons.
