Hyundai’s upcoming Alcazar SUV global launch scheduled in the upcoming days and we’ve got some engine and gearbox options details. The Alcazar will be Hyundai’s game changing product in ever-growing three row mid-size SUV market for the India. Alcazar will be available with six and seven seat options.

Hyundai Alcazar: Powerunit and Gearbox
The Alcazar India will share some mechanical as well cosmetic bits with most popular SUV Creta in India, but it will not share the Creta’s traditional (1.5-litre NA – 115hp and 1.4-litre turbo – 140hp) but gets more heavy 152hp 2.0-litre engine that will be available in India’s Elentra Sedan and Tucson SUV.The engine is connected to six-speed manual gearbox or six-speed automatic gearbox.
Alcazar’s diesel engine uses the same Creta’s 1.5-litre 115hp engine but surely it’s differently tuned for better power output to fulfill the requirements in heavier three-row SUV. On the diesel side the same gerabox is expected i.e six speed manual gearbox and six speed automatic option.
Hyundai Alcazar: Styling, Comfort
The 3-Row SUV gets unique styling elements and also has longer overhang that will keep apart from the five seater Creta. As these is six and seven seater SUV Hyundai focus on marketing and sold Alcazar as a premium product in the Indian market. Alcazar offers Six seater layout with captains chair for the second row also gets centre that will have uniquely styled floor mounted house cup holder and aslo available with charging ports and moreover verymuch comfort aimed at customer driven.
Hyundai Alcazar: Rivals in India
Upcoming Hyundai Alcazar directly rivals the all new updated Indian Tata Safari and the Chinese MG Hector Plus. Also, major rival still yet to launch which is launching in the few month 2021 Mahindra XUV 500. The more details are yet to revealed but Alcazar heading the market sooner this month.
