Hyundai officially announced the name of its upcoming 7 seater SUV as Hyundai Alcazar a few days back. Now, Reports claim that the Alcazar will debut on 6th April 2021. This SUV for the Indian car market will be launched later this year, this will be a 7 seater varient of of the 2020 Hyundai Creta. It will be based on Hyundai’s K2 platform which is seen on many Hyundai cars. The SUV will be available in both Petrol as well Diesel variants with Automatic as well as Manual options. It will mainly rival MG hector plus, XUV 500, Tata Safari 2021.

The Alcazar will share several features from the Hyundai Creta like Powered driver seat, front ventilated seats, car connectivity, panoramic sunroof, digital cluster, 8 speaker Bose audio system, ISO fix child seat mounts, LED headlamps and tail lamps, cabin air-purifier, leather seats.
This 7 seater SUV will be offered with 1.4-litre turbocharged petrol, 1.5-litre turbo-diesel and petrol motors similar to the Creta. The transmission options will be 6-speed manual, 6-speed torque converter automatic, 7-speed DCT for turbo-petrol variants.
Estimated prices will be starting from around 15 lakhs and will go around 22 lakhs for the top end variant. Let’s see if the Alcazar brings the same success to Hyundai motors which they got from its 5 seater sibling.
