Hyundai is all set make its official global debut tomorrow but India-bound Alcazar will launch later in this months. Hyundai’s Alcazar will be the brands very initial product offering the three-row vehicle in the ever growing Indian market. Hyundai Alcazar: Engine and Gearbox
The Alcazar will share some mechanical as well cosmetic changes with most sold SUV Creta in India, while dont come with the Creta’s traditional (1.5-litre NA – 115hp and 1.4-litre turbo – 140hp) but gets more heavy 152hp 2.0-litre engine that will be available in India’s Elentra Sedan and Tucson SUV.The engine is connected to six-speed manual gearbox or six-speed automatic gearbox.
The three-row SUV gets diesel engine uses the same Creta’s 1.5-litre 115hp engine but surely it’s differently tuned for better power output to fulfill the requirements in heavier three-row SUV.
In diesel engine gets the same gerabox is expected i.e six speed manual gearbox and six speed automatic option.

Hyundai’s premium SUV compete against the recently launched Hector Plus and Tata’s iconic SUV the legend Safari. The upcoming XUV 500 also stands against the same Hyundai’s premium SUV which are the part of the same segment part.
