Indian actor Karan Kundrra buys a new Jeep Wrangler Rubicon

Karan Kundrra, an Indian actor, has purchased a new Jeep Wrangler Rubicon. The most expensive variant is the Rubicon, which costs Rs. 60.35 lakhs ex-showroom. Sarge Green is the finish colour.

Jeep also offers the Wrangler in an additional version, the Unlimited, which costs Rs. 56.35 lakhs ex-showroom. Both versions have a 2.0-liter turbocharged gasoline engine with a maximum output of 268 horsepower and a maximum torque output of 400 Nm. It is connected to an automated transmission with an 8-speed torque converter that sends power to all four wheels.

A tougher version of the Wrangler is the Rubicon model. It is equipped with locking front and rear differentials and Jeep’s Rock-Trac full-time 4WD system. Additionally, some electronic sway bars can separate while off-roading. It has gas shock absorbers and heavy-duty performance suspension. Additionally, the alloy wheels are 17 instead of 18 inches in diameter to accommodate thicker side walls. The tyres are 255/75 R17 in size. The Rubicon has improved approach, ramp break-over, and departure angles, as well as increased ground clearance.

It still has fully functional, detachable doors. The upholstery is washable, and the hood features a sizable Rubicon decal. Red stitching is added to the seats, and the dashboard receives a red anodized inlay.

The licence plate on Karan’s Wrangler Rubicon reads “K KUNDRRA.” This obviously had just been done for the video. Additionally, the actor, who is shown driving the new SUV, appears to be very delighted. In comparison to his Land Rover Range Rover, he claims that the glass area is smaller. According to Karan, the Wrangler exudes a strong road presence. Additionally, he is perched quite high above the ground.

The Wrangler comes with a split tailgate just like we have seen on the Thar. So, the lower half of the tailgate opens first to the side and then the glass opens upwards. He also takes the SUV to a fuel pump to refill the fuel tank and the Wrangler Rubicon takes in 70 litres of petrol worth Rs. 7,846.

Some other vehicles that Karan Kundrra owns are Land Rover Range Rover, an older generation of Ford Endeavour. He also used to own a Mini Cooper that he sold off now.

In India, we only get the 5-door version of the Wrangler. There are all-LED headlamps with LED Daytime Running strips, LED foglamps and tail lamps, 7-inch coloured multi-information display. There is also UConnect touchscreen infotainment system that supports Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, dual-zone climate control, push-button to start/stop the engine, keyless entry, leather upholstery and much more.
