1. Tata Altroz EV

The automaker has revealed that it will launch the Tata Altroz EV “at the right time”. Though, it’s reported to arrive sometime this year. For power, the electric hatchback will use the brand’s updated Ziptron technology that will soon be introduced on the 2022 Tata Nexon EV. Its battery capacity and power output, however, could be different from the electric compact SUV. The Altroz EV is estimated to deliver range around 250km – 300km. Similar to the Nexon EV, it might be equipped with the ZConnect app offering 35 connected car features. A few cosmetic changes will be made to the electric Altroz including newly-designed alloys with blue highlights, updated bumpers and blacked-out tailgate section.

2. Mahindra e-XUV 300

Mahindra’s new ‘Born Electric Vision’ platform will be powered by the e-XUV300, which was created by Mahindra’s MADE (Mahindra Advance Design Europe) branch in the United Kingdom. In July 2022, the business will reveal three new electric car designs, one of which might be an electric version of the XUV300. While no official information about the electric SUV has been released, it is expected to include 350V and 380V powertrain options. The e-XUV300 will also be the company’s first model to include LG Chem battery cells designed specifically for Indian applications. The electric version will be distinguished from the conventional model by blue highlights and a few design changes. The Mahindra XUV300 electric SUV is expected to hit the market next year.
