Inside the World’s First Luxury $610k Helicopter

While flying about in a helicopter is already a huge exercise, this luxury aircraft takes it to the next level.
If you’re looking for a helicopter and what’s on the market isn’t cutting it, we’ve got excellent news.
The HX50, the world’s first luxury helicopter, is now available from Hill Helicopters.

While the name isn’t exactly catchy, you won’t care when you step foot inside it.

The HX50 has smooth exterior styling with massive windows offering incredible panoramic views.

While the exterior is already incredibly lux, it can be customized for each buyer.

It comes in seven different colors, including white, red, orange, green, blue and black – each metallic with chrome finishes.

But it’s the Nappa leather and Alcantara-lined inside that sets it apart.
This luxurious helicopter seats five people, including the pilot, who enjoys cutting-edge cockpit displays.

Passengers are also well supplied for, with temperature control and Bluetooth connectivity ensuring that they are not left wanting for anything.
There’s also an iPad in the centre of the dashboard where passengers may check flight information.

It’ll also get you where you need to go quickly, thanks to its turboshaft engine, which produces up to 500hp.
That translates into a peak speed of 140 knots (259km/h; 161mph).
It is also intended to be as effective as possible.
However, given its fuel usage figure of 35 gallons per hour, we are sceptical of that assertion.

If you’re after your own, it comes priced from $610,000 (£495,000).

The order book is currently open ahead of production starting in 2023.

Whether you’re a serious buyer or not, you can configure one now on the Hill Helicopters website.
