With the debut of the EV6 electric crossover, Kia is ready to embark on its EV journey in India. The vehicle is expected to hit the streets in August. The vehicle’s powertrain and features have leaked online ahead of its formal debut. According to a leaked brochure scan, the Kia EV6 will be equipped with a 77.4kWh lithium-ion battery pack that will provide a 528km (WLTP cycle) electric range when completely charged.
The battery pack will be able to charge for 100 kilometres in less than 4.5 minutes thanks to ultra-fast charging. It will also come with a 350kW fast charger and a 50kWh fast charger, which can charge the battery from 10% to 80% in 18 minutes and 73 minutes, respectively.

The new Kia electric crossover is available with either a single or dual motor configuration. The former has RWD and produces 225bhp and 350Nm, while the latter has AWD and produces 321bhp and 605Nm. Snow White Pearl, Aurora Black Pearl, Monoscape, Runway Red, and Yacht Blue are the five exterior colour options available to buyers. The electric automobile has a length of 4695mm, a width of 1890mm, and a height of 1550mm. The black interior of the Kia EV6 will have black suede with vegan leather blosters.

Dual 12.3-inch displays, dual zone automatic climate control, 10-way power adjustable front seats, regeneration paddle shifters, rain sensing wipers, multi drive modes, a wireless smartphone charger, 4 speakers audio system, Kia Connect with 60+ features, and more will be included in the list of features.
The Kia EV6 GT-Line AWD will include several unique design elements and amenities, such as a 14-speaker Meridian sound system, an augmented reality heads-up display, automated flush fitting door handles, and a motorised tailgate. The new Kia electric car will come standard with an ADAS package that includes 8 airbags, ESC, ABS, HAC, BAS, VSM, ESS, all-wheel disc brakes, front and rear parking sensors, and an Isofix child anchor.
