Kia India February Car Sales
Sales hit the 18k milestone last month. YoY growth was 8.50 percent at 18,121 units, up from 16,702 units. The increase in volume was 1,419 units. Sales decreased by 4.91 percent on a month-over-month basis. Sales dropped by 935 units, from 19,056 units to 19,056 units. Kia has already sold over 37k units in the first two months of 2022. Kia’s product portfolio is still tiny, but the company is looking to expand. For starters, its sales success has assured that the company continues to grow, establishing itself as one of the top five automobile manufacturers in the country.
With 6,575 units sold last month, the Kia Seltos was the largest contributor to total sales. The Kia Sonet sold 6,154 units, while the Carnival sold 283 units. Carens, the company’s most recent launch, saw 5,109 units dispatched.
