Kia Motors is attempting to boost its market share in India. The Sonet CNG has been tested in the Indian market by the South Korean manufacturer. The company is also attempting to deliver low-cost electric vehicles to India. Kia Motors is currently one of India’s top five automobile brands, and the new approach will help the company go even further.
Kia Electric SUV
Kia Motors is working on a new small electric SUV for the Indian market, according to ETAuto. The new vehicle is being developed under the codename AY. Kia is expected to release the new electric SUV in India by 2025.
The forthcoming SUV is built on a flexible chassis that will allow Kia to produce a gasoline version as well. The Tata Nexon EV and the Tata Nexon have a similar strategy. The Tata Nexon EV is now the best-selling electric vehicle in India.
Currently, there are no electric cars offered at Kia showrooms in India. Kia, on the other hand, is set to put even greater pressure on its rivals with its new electric vehicles.
There is no other information on the vehicle’s development. It will most likely be a mid-size SUV that directly competes with the Tata Nexon EV.

Before That Kia EV6 Is Lined Up For India
Kia would establish itself in the new niche with an all-imported vehicle before delivering the inexpensive electric car to India. While Hyundai will introduce the all-new Ioniq5 to the Indian market soon, Kia will introduce its brother – the EV6.
Because of the high import cost, the all-new Kia EV6 will be a costly vehicle. With the EV6, however, Kia isn’t looking for high figures. The new electric vehicle will help Kia establish itself in India’s EV market. This is a halo product that will establish Kia’s brand before the more economical small SUV EV arrives.
The EV6’s design has yet to be revealed by Kia. The Kia EV6 is offered in two versions in international markets.
