The limited-edition Lamborghini Aventador LP780-4 Ultimae sits between the performance-spec Aventador SVJ and the Aventador S.
Automobili Lamborghini has unveiled the Lamborghini Aventador Ultimae, an unique version of the Aventador that commemorates the end of the pure petrol V12 engine. The Lamborghini Aventador LP780-4 Ultimae will be available in 350 and 250 coupe and roadster body types, respectively, and will be limited to only 600 units worldwide. The Lamborghini Aventador Ultimae is a limited-edition car that stands between the performance-oriented Aventador SVJ and the Aventador S, combining the best of both worlds into one stunning vehicle.
- Lamborghini launches a special edition of the Aventador.
- The Aventador Ultimae marks the end of production for V12 NA engines.
- The Aventador Ultimae is offered in both coupe and roadster versions.
The Lamborghini Aventador LP780-4 Ultimae is powered by the Aventador line’s most powerful V12 engine, which produces 770 horsepower at 8,500 rpm and 720 Nm at 6,750 rpm. The car has a top speed of 355 kmph and is equipped with a 7-speed automatic transmission. In the coupe variant, the Aventador Ultimae accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.8 seconds and from 0-200 km/h in 8.7 seconds.
The design of the Aventador LP780-4 Ultimae is typically Lamborghini. And while it is close to the Aventador SVJ when it comes to performance, the styling is close to the Aventador S, but with even more exclusive elements. The most obvious are bucket loads of carbon fibre, such as the new front bumper, massive side skirts, and rear diffuser. Despite the addons, the new Ultimae is 25 kg lighter than the standard Aventador S. Then there are the 20-inch alloy wheels that come as standard, though you can opt for 21-inch wheels if you prefer. And If you’re not happy with the 18 standard colours, then for an extra premium you get to choose from 300 different hues.
The interior of the Lamborghini Aventador LP780-4 Ultimae is nearly identical to that of the S, with the exception of a ‘001 of 350/250’ plaque depending on coupe or roadster chosen. Black leather and Alcantara are standard throughout the cabin, as are ‘comfort’ seats. If you give Lamborghini a blank check, it will gladly trim the interior in your choice of custom materials.
