LEGOLAND® Florida Resort Unveils New Life-Size Ford F-150® Lightning™ Truck

A life-size Ford F-150 Lightning made of Lego blocks has been unveiled as the newest attraction at the Legoland Florida Resort. It’s the most recent Lego brick build to be added to the theme park’s collection.

The four-door crew cab 1:1 replica, which is based on the Ford F-150 Lightning Lariat, has a full-size truck bed, running boards, and functional lights. Work on the model reportedly began in July at the Lego Group’s US headquarters in Enfield, Connecticut, and continued for 15 Master Builders.

An overview of the Lego build is available in a video that Legoland Florida Resort posted on its Facebook page.

The life-size Lego replica of the electric truck took more than 1,600 hours and 320,740 bricks to construct. The full-size Lego model, which is 19 feet (5.8 metres) long and nearly 7 feet (2.1 metres) wide, weighs 3,730 pounds (1,692 kilogrammes), which is more than half of the actual truck’s curb weight of 6,500 pounds (2,948 kg).

The first and largest electric vehicle model currently on display at any Legoland Park in North America, according to the Legoland Florida Resort, is its newest attraction. Recall that a life-size Ferrari F40, constructed from over 358,000 bricks, arrived in Legoland California in May.

Currently, the Lego life-size replica of the Ford F-150 Lightning is on display in the theme park next to the Ford Driving School. Visitors aged 6 to 13 can operate this attraction’s vehicles as taxi drivers, police officers, firefighters, or any other type of driver they choose. By passing a driving test, they can even purchase a customised Legoland Driver’s License from the Driving School shop.

A one-day pass to Legoland Florida Resort costs as little as $84.99 per person when ordered in advance. By day and ticket type, ticket prices vary.
