A superhero should travel in style, so Lexus and Adidas collaborate to design the distinctive RX 500h F Sport using Black Panther: Wakanda Forever as inspiration. To go with it, there is a limited-edition T-shirt.
On the distinctive RX 500h, the School for Experiential Education in Design at Adidas and the Lexus City Design Research Center worked together. The piece is a spinoff from the Adidas Wakanda Forever Collection and envisions what athletic gear for the Wakanda national team might look like.

Purple stripes on a black background make up the colour motif on this RX. Gold diamonds that resemble the claw necklace worn by Black Panther can be seen at the base of the hood at the windshield. On the door handles, window trim, and lower fascia, metallic gold accents can be seen. Vibe-Branium is written in the Wakandan alphabet on a badge that is attached to the tail.
A total revamp is done to the interior materials. Seat bolsters, door panels, and the rim of the steering wheel are all covered in a gold print with Wakanda-inspired designs. The midsole of Adidas’ 4DFWD shoes and the headrests were made of the same Carbon 3D printed material. Laser-cut wood with gold trim makes up the centre console. The word “Lexus” is displayed on the infotainment display in Wakandan.

The 2023 model also gains the RX 450h+ plug-in hybrid. The brand is announcing more details about it later.
